The Waipu Musicfest & Village Picnic 09
This was our 3rd annual event held on a hot and humid Sunday afternoon on March 8, 2009, at Waihoihoi River Park.
Organised and sponsored by our church we aim to put on a good afternoons entertainment. The music varies in style and tempo.
We feature local artists, invite a couple of regional acts, and now we look for nationally known muso's who are willing to come to Waipu.
This year between 600-700 people turned out.
Our feature artist was NZ Idol Ben Lummis
